Clarity

CLARITY

And now sitting alone in the sun,

The abandoned house staring at him

He could finally see everything clearly

Through his broken glasses;

Glasses he abandoned as he deemed them redundant

And now he as ponders his redundancy

The spectacle turns into a deja vu for the old spectacles

For he is not the first

Now will he be the last, they know!

  1. What a creative piece of writing. It’s a cyclic realization that remains ever new yet retains its older wisdoms. Love how the spectacles have a mind of their own. Wish you a very happy new year. Hope it’s a good one. 🙂
